MWBL Week 15 Results
A Jean Alvarado Grand Slam proved decisive as the 1sts got back in the win column with a near full game performance. Coach and Australian Team pitcher Daniel McGrath taking a perfecto into the 6th inning. He would finish after 6 giving up just the one base runner.
The 2nds and 3rds had what we hope to be a blip on the radar with a pair of losses whilst the 4ths went down in a result under protest due to the game clearly going longer in time than permitted. We await the league's decision.
Juniors saw the U/15's finals chances over and the U/17 Green's tough run of form continued but still look likely to land a spot in the four. U/17 Red Division however asserted themselves at the top of the tree with a round to play.
